For the most part, all of his stories involve fantasy and boys. Many of them involve sci-fi (Brile, O'Connor's Grenadiers, Adventure Quest). Geek Squad is alternate history, Day of N is apocalyptic adventure, and Defenders, the only complete series, is Superheroes.
Regarding the gun Pontarius used, I still have no idea whether this was foreshadowed. But then again I don't notice subtle things; you gotta hit me on the head with a clue bat to make me really notice for sure.

Welcome, Darian! I'm afraid you are going to have to wait some more.
The first chapter of Kandric Saga was crafted in the 1990s, and we've been having more or less around 18 months in between updates. The tale is currently up to Chapter 30, which dropped May last year. Hopefully Chapter 31 will come out in the next few months (fingers crossed!) though I seriously doubt the conclusion is anywhere close. I would say, perhaps Chapter 40 will be the last, but who knows?

Because I, too, am waiting for the next chapter to drop, here's the scenes I want to see:
Conth standing up to Vondum. Kandric meets up with Glaster (bet the shaman's eyes will bug out), and his reunion with Aster and Conner (and Bane, but that's not very likely). Vondum saying "hi" to Rovanell (let's face it, gramps is way out of Kandric's weight class) Kandric, Aster and Conner's reaction upon learning what Frexla did.

Funny you should say that. Pontarius is Vondum's younger brother, the same one he threw away for magic items. He is heck of a lot older because Vondum is in the habit of drinking youth potions. This is not a spoiler, although it's something that's somewhat buried in a huge pile of text.
I enjoyed David Clarke's writing, especially his Nexus trilogy and Excelsior. Alternate universes are always fun.
On a less sci-fi vein, I also enjoyed J. O. Dickinson's Travels with Nicolai Ribeiro. I hope he has plans to continue it.

yeah, these are many open topics. so much still to write till we could say and when they did not die so they still live today (und wenn sie nicht gestorben sind, so leben sie noch heute).
that way all german fairytales end
and you are right, i also want to know what happends with vondum, conth, porma the bad guy (i feel a bit pity for him too although he is a real bad ass (was)). and, interesting would also be the meeting between vondum and pontarius. both are captains, of a boat and of a city, both are captains of something rapid. coincidence? thunder rapid - black rapids

kyle, roland, can you please tell us when your combined stories will continue eventually? can you tell us if you are at writing the next chapter(s) and how long you think you will need for it still?
is there any possibility to get informed when one of these stories gets a new chapter? can i subscribe somewhere for it? kyles part of the story a friend found somewhere i think on PZA, there it was posted till chapter 25. then i did a search on the net and found 5 more, here. so it seems the stories are spread around in the net which is i think very good, that as many people as possible read this wonderful novel.

so a last question for now: can someone recommend any similar fantasy magical story here? something magic, fantastic but also with some gay boy sex (underage is ok for me).
on nifty i like to read some of the stories on young friends or adult - youth. but, who wants to read another nice big story on nifty should look for Nexus at Science fiction section. its a story in 3 books each around 18 chapters about a multiversum connected below surface. its also with some sex, wit slavery, with struggles with authorities but also many nice adventures. simply read it, you will love it.

I was re-reading the Kandric Saga, and found this passage:

Cam'ris gave Vondum an odd look and held up his left arm, "Um, right here." Seeing a bemused stare from the big man and not wanting to annoy him in the slightest, he added, "This is my rank plate, sir." The youngster's hand moved up to his bracer.
In the center of the bracer there was a copper rectangle with an insignia of a howling wolf in the middle, only this one didn't have chevrons or slashes like Vondum expected to see in a Guild pin. Instead it had a twin border around it with six diamond shape marks coming off the inner line all pointing inward. The outer line had the look of interwoven symbols which were mixed with what appeared to be some kind of lettering, possibly old Elvish, combined with stars while the inner line was just a raised thin line.

So, I decided to mess around with the copper rectangle!

So, I decided to go for another one.
General Waviked moved up and showed Vondum his shoulder patch, which was very similar. There was a difference however, for Waviked's was made out of gold, plus had the pair of swords over a shield insignia surrounded by five raised lines. The outer four were interlocked long thin triangles mixed with anvils while the innermost was a single line with seven diamonds pointing inward.
This was way more challenging -- I have no idea how interlocked long thin triangles mixed with anvils worked (plus four of these lines!). So I probably butchered it. Sorry, Kyle!

Last one of the old school logos! Description as follows:
The metal spot on the belt was made of gold and had five lines bordering twin crossed swords, but instead of a shield behind the swords, there was a skeleton. The four outer lines had pine trees followed by fish while the inner line was solid with three diamond pointing toward the center insignia.
I am making the following assumptions:
The metal spot is rectangular (it could easily be triangular or any polygonal shape) Kyle meant a full skeleton instead of a skull. There are three pine trees followed by three fish (indicating Outdoorsman, I assume?) Credits:

I wasn't attempting to be sarcastic. Every time I intend sarcasm in a post, I add an emoticon like so:
After all, sarcasm is extremely hard to detect on the Internet. One can easily misread a passage meant to be sarcastic, but is not overtly so.
To break up the atmosphere, I shall quote Anton Ego, in his closing monologue on the animated film Ratatouille:

In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so.
But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. Last night, I experienced something new, an extra-ordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core.
In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Gusteau's famous motto: "Anyone can cook." But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Gusteau's, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in France.
I will be returning to Gusteau's soon, hungry for more.

Hm, you seem to have taken the capital letters as some kind of personal attack. I assure you no malice was intended, and that was simply how I would say it out loud, with a stress on "SURE". This was based on previous pronouncements when my favorite authors dropped hints of already having a lot of ideas percolating in their mind.
With that said, I shall henceforth stop reading and commenting on your literature, as you seem to harbor the impression that only those who produce literature have the right to give feedback on such. It won't be easy to withdraw from the Canterbury Universe, but I am sure I'll manage somehow. Have a nice day, sir.

Agreed that this appears to be the natural conclusion. If Antor is force-sensitive, them that might be a loose thread to yank, but it is a stretch.
While I haven't completed the other stories, this looks to have the best integration into the Star Wars universe. Story # 1 seems to be a boarding school story with a superficial Star Wars patina (All younglings who become padawans are apprenticed to a Master, and don't have classes with other padawans). Story # 2 has better integration, but the choice of villains: a Zygerrian Empire lead by a Sith Lord with delusions of godhood) seems a little strange to me.
The Star Wars aficionado in me has one minor comment. This obviously takes place after the Battle of Endor. My understanding is that the shaman initially wanted to sacrifice Leia, Han, and Luke to C3PO, and was later discredited and removed from his position. The shaman during this time should be Paploo.
And also, two words. Not canon in the remotest sense, mind you, but ehh. Endor Holocaust. The destruction of the Second Death Star, so close to the moon, would have created an Ice Age, resulting in mass extinction

I was being coy to avoid spoilers, especially to those who get automatic notifications through e-mail but didn't have the opportunity to read.
But yes, I think the ones you named will be among the casualties. I don't see the other main protagonists (main 2 changelings, main 2 werewolves, mutant boy and robot boy) to be in danger of dying... yet! I also feel that Sven may not make it out in one piece as well, to push Magnus further along in development.
I am not expecting you to either confirm nor deny the suppositions. I'm just airing my view of who's next on the "to die" list...
I'll be honest - I have absolutely no idea of the fencing terms, so I simply disregarded all the technical terms and skimmed through the passages. All in all, I got the sense that Robby got knocked around real good, but managed to outfox Magnus in the end with a maneuver I can't quite picture in my head. All that matters is that we all understand he won in the end, so it's all good...
Probably not what you want to hear, but hey, we all appreciate being "shown their work" especially if it's good!

While reading the latest installment, I have an inkling where the cliffhanger was going to be. Alas, as I worked my way into the chapter, my inkling became confirmed, much to my chagrin.
I can only hope that the wait for Chapter K will not be as long as the wait for the last two, since it should really be a crime to cliffhang your readers like this...  Truly, that is cruel and unusual punishment to deprive eager readers of the next installment

P.S. Somehow I fear this is the last we'll see of the troll, and probably the wayward son as well. Oh well, hope they go heroically!

charts didn't come over quite right, but you can see that experience it takes to gain echelons and steps is different by race.
this chart also has the difference for Sands of Time Era and Kandric Era.
in simple terms it takes more experience to advance for the higher races and less for the lower races. Magic Defiance is also different. So while the attack and counter are the same for a secondary Echelon step one Human and a Secondary step one Alphar, the Alphar will have more force to cast with and a higher magic defiance. It also takes him a lot more XP to get to that point.
