Wolfhighlander
You know Vic, I wondered if anyone would ask that question. In writing the story, I actually thought about that and I did come up with what happened to them all. I almost added what happened to them as a sort of epilogue, but I thought it was unnecessary for the story and I believed the story would be good without that and leave it up to the readers imagination as to what happened. Thanks for reading the story
Jack Schaeffer
I never knew this had happened. Beautiful story telling. Thank you for this lovely Christmas gift.
Wolfhighlander
Your welcome Jack. Although it did happen, it varied to the extent. It ranged from fighting as normal to the closer fraternization as shown in the story. Some places it was only for a short time, other places it lasted longer. I'm glad you liked it. Mark C.
Eric, I am glad you did not write your epilogue and agree with you. The story was perfect in its power and feeling and left us with a sense of love and goodwill. To find out what happened to them afterwards would ruin the moment the story gave us, especially if it was not good. Thank you for a great read. Wolfhighlander
I'm very happy you found it enjoyable to read. I really liked writing it. I think it took about 8 hours over two days to write it. I did have to actually work at my real job too, so I couldn't write it in one sitting. ken barber
You are right mark it has changed but still to many are left homeless, jobless and in despair. Now you matter how you feel about about politics this is one group that should have our unending support and respect. Thanks Mark Zach Caldwell and Mark C.
Mark C.
Always, Ken. I so agree. The military defends us, provides a career and life for those people who it's lifestyle fits. There are issues still like sexual harassment, cadet hazing, etc. but overall, our vets need our support and deserve it. ken barber
Jeikor
I want to tell how great this story is but I can't think of any words that are adequate to what this story has made me feel. Very, very special.
