Holy crap what a chapter. Griping is an understatement. Considering the level of detail in the military strategy. I can imagine Arthur with a giant topographic map of Spain and moving monitored soldiers around on it and taking notes as he plans this out. My hat's off to you sir. The depth of the story telling and walking us through so we can see and feel it is not even matched by some professional arthur's. Amazing work. Totally hooked and very impatient for next Thursday 

I love the Netherlands, although I've only been to Amsterdam. Great people and everyone was so friendly. I hope to get back there soon.

I've been reading the stories on Castle Roland now for about a year, I think.
I like the Revolutions Universe, of course Kandric Universe and a lot of the other authors.
I'm a fan of Arthur, Chowhound, Eric Aune and Ken Barber and several others. Sorry I don't remember all names (at the moment), but I hope I'm not standing on any toes, here.
English is not my native language; but about 95% of the stories I read online is in English. Some German and ofcourse Dutch.
While some stories online alas were never finished... (other sites). Hopefully The Kandric Saga will continue. It's anyway the oldest story I follw and I've read it
from the early start. I've chatted with Kyle many times.
Before I was just a reader, a lurker in the background. I will try to make myself at home here and try to make comments on many more stories.

The attitude of the more titled folk of the day considered anyone below their own social class to be inferior and that is the reason for most of the lack of manners or understanding but also the lower classes had very little time for the upper crust or "Toffs" as they were usually called so it went both ways but I am trying to set the tale from the pint of view of someone that is of the lower classes but is trying his best to do better. The "Toff's" don't like the idea and think everything Thomas does is beneath them so he therefore is due little respect by those above him.
Is this a red herring? Hmmmmmm.

I am sure you've been doing it like this for ages, but... as someone new I didn't find it easy to see where the Christmas stories are. Alright, I found them in stories- castle roland special events, but... imo they are not really highlighted for reading, just hidden away with all the authors. I think they deserve to be at the top of the page and not in alphabetical order.

I never understood how the generation of my grandparents could vote for the NSDAP after all they had said before.
I still can't understand  but now I see that things DO happen. Honestly I didn't imagine people could be that stupid. While I don't trust Mrs. Clinton an ounce, at least she didn't openly propagate WWIII...
While I considered moving to Florida after my retirement this isn't going to happen now. Not only because I don't want to live amoung people who voted for Mr. Ashwood, but also because I most likely won't live long enough to retire.

I was just recently thinking about that house, now that Halloween is here again. I went in that house once when I was a little older. I was with a couple of friends and we went in at night with candles. Some noise scared us and we ran back out pretty quickly. It was really funny.

It is currently with my editors. You will have it within the next couple of days. Pulled an all-nighter yesterday and wrote nearly 10,000 words on it, then finished up the first draft this morning. I'm rather pleased and hope the readers will be, too.

I have often wished for a power like Damien's, the ability to psychically induce diarrhea in people who are in my way. It seems like a good way to make people move a bit more quickly. So I had to laugh when I realized that in this contest I am number two.
Actually, I liked both other stories better than mine.
