Emperor Roland

While his stories may never have been hosted here, I know that many of the authors here, including myself, saw him as a titan in our community. I have read 'Gone From Daylight' several times, and it was a primary motivator for me to want to write. The amount of love and dedication that he showed to his craft is both humbling and awe-inspiring. He will be mourned by many, and missed by many more, but his tales, his characters, and his creativity will live on forever.

Boy you guys are going at it hot and heavy! Lol. It is wonderful to see such in depth thought and analysis about such a detailed story. due to the fact that I have a lot more knowledge of what is happening in the background, I can not get involved with this discussion directly without revealing what is to come. However… I have noticed a common theme in your discussions that I think you are both making a mistake with. You are both looking at peoples motives while also knowing what is going on elsewhere. Most of the characters have no idea what’s happening in other areas. Take the King. Currently he has no real idea about the WHY of what Kandric is doing, you both do. You have to keep that in mind when thinking about motives. as for the plot against the king and his family. The question should not be why the king reacted the way he did. But why was the plot put in place to begin with? well that should open up a new can or worms. Lol

In this case, Oden, and Odin, do refer to the same mythical being who was the first Highman King. Translations from that long lost time use both spellings. Why is unknown, at this point. (that’s the official story that we are sticking with)

Okay everyone, it is happening. The next Kandric 'chapter' (more like two or more novels) will be published on 24 December. I would really like people to add in how long it took them to read it. i am just really curious. I hope this warning gives you enough time to schedule time off of work if you need it. LOL

I will happily send it to you. as for why it had to be pulled down, I truly worried about people confusing the two. They are not similar by any stretch, but I don’t want people thinking the what happened in the first, actually happened. If that made sense

Hey all, I know many of you have been wondering what has been going on with Roland. Well the last two years have seen many changes in my life. I had double heart bypass surgery. I had the privilege of being with my mother and caring for her during the last year of her life, then i had to move as i am not the caretaker for my father. whew.... even typing it out made me tired. lol. anyways, the good news is that, for now, things have clamed enough to where i have been able to start writing again. With that in mind, I have decided to re-write Sands of Time. After the events in Kandric, and in Crags, it made sense to re-write the story. plus there were several parts that I was not happy with. very shortly the original Sands will be removed from the site, and shortly after that, the new Sands will start to be posted. Please understand, this is a complete re-write. some of the original characters were changed, as well the situations. please do not think you will see the same type of story, or the same storylines. I truly hope you all enjoy the new story, and please use this forum to comment on the story.

Just dropping a little note here... Chapter 33 is officially off to the editors.... Now may be a good time to start a re-read to make sure everything is fresh in your minds... lol.

Hey all. Im sure that this is a surprising topic, but here it goes. Kyle and I are looking for someone or someones that can help keep all the different things in the Kandric universe straight. whether it be by wiki, or charts, we don't care, just someone who can keep track of the universe.
