Unfortunately we do not live in such a world and it behooves us all to work towards change. One of the most powerful forces for change is money, countries like this survive on the handouts from more prosperous nations like the United States. THAT is where we can effect change. Write to your representatives in Congress to cut off financial aide to places like this. If enough of us demand change, our representatives in both houses of Congress will listen. Make your outrage known, letters to the Editor make a wonderful forum. Learn to speak before groups, both political and social.
