It was a tough choice, but I chose fantasy for this pole. There's elements in fantasy that just get my attention. Also, in part, because I like to use reading to escape my real problems. Not sure what Urban Fantasy is other than Fantasy that takes place in an urban environment... So I just sort of mentally lumped it together with Fantasy. If the story seems too much like something that I could actually do, it isn't fun. Yeah, it has to be realistic up to a point, but there's a line. But I will read Science Fiction and Action Adventure stories too. It's hard, sometimes, to tell the line between genres.

Meeting Mercedes Lackey was great! Definitely the highlight of the convention for me. Pictures? Be careful what you ask for... First two are me, last two are Robby.

I actually read all the way through that one before it was fixed. I liked the story.

Well, I did it... I actually got one submitted this year.

I don't think I've ever been to brunch. I may have made a brunch at home, but never went out to brunch. Sounds like it would be fun in a group setting.

I think I'm going to try for it again this time. Was debating over it the last couple days, batting ideas around and I think I've found one I can work with.

Re-reading through this reminds me. This policy has changed recently as well. Okay, this is a really simple snack that's (healthy?) Well, debatably... Berries and Cream for Adults. Grab some of your favorite assorted berries.. I used straw berries, cut up and with the little green part on top removed. Put them in a bowl and pour some Bailey's Irish Cream over them. (For those that don't consume alcohol, they also have a brand of coffee creamer that's non alcoholic.)
