  1. Wow, thanks so much for the critique. I'd say I'm speechless but . . . hey, I'm a writer. I would like to say to anyone reading this that I had not read the critique prior to the interview. And the interview was posted verbatim. There were a few questions that I didn't expect but I tried to answer them honestly and completely. I hope I achieved that. And if an interview doesn't ask uncomfortable questions then it's not a good interview. Kudos to Adam for his interviewing skills. And Adam, stocking stuffers are cheapest from lulu. BTW, the hard copies offer 50 cents profit. The rest is costs of printing. Cheers!
  2. Thanks Wyatt. It was a lot of fun and was certainly life changing. It started my madness. It was the first thing I ever wrote. Well except for some poetry when I was very young.

Wishing you a very happy birthday.

  4. An AWESOME start! I only hope Thomas has gotten his sea legs. Seems to me he was always sick when onboard and stayed that way until his feet were on solid ground again. It should be interesting to see where this adventure takes us.
  5. Thanks, there has been much discussion on his very item.
  6. Thanks Jay. I really gotta see why I'm not getting the ticklers when comments are left. Perhaps the new site will fix it.

Thanks so much Mary. This was a fun one to write. It was an exercise to get the creative juices flowing after a five year sabbatical from writing. So glad you enjoyed it and it was very kind of you to take the ime from your overwhelming schedule to write about it here. Thanks and thanks so much for all you do. You're amazing.
  8. Right author, wrong story! From Trick to Treat Book 1 It's a bitch getting old.
  9. Ya well Jeikor it's YOUR fault I'm not writing today. I'm too busy converting Zarin Testa and the Andrake Academy to MP3 so that I can listen to it while I'm driving and I am only on CH 23 with a ways to go! I will have all 79 (so far) converted and ready to keep me entertained as I drive my 11 hours a day. And I dare not stop until every word is converted or I may find myself on the side of the road frantically converting the next chapter! Completely addicted!
  10. Thanks so much. I'll give it some thought. It was a fun piece to write. I did it as an exercise in writing to get back into the swing of things after taking almost 5 years off to help keep a kid alive who had been badly abused. It's hard to be creative when you're worried. But he survived and is doing alright. So I am working to get back to my best creative point. So I might indeed revisit it. Thanks so much for reading and commenting. It means so very much especially when it comes from such a brilliant author as yourself.
  11. I don't know how I missed this one. An awesome opening. As usual, your stories just suck you right into it. The first chapter has nearly 30,000 words. I would have been happier with 30,000 more. Your writing is so easy to slip into and forget the world of reality. You build a solid bubble of fantasy that is not easily broken. You can feel Peter's loneliness and love as well as his unconditional acceptance. I love Glen's persona and the way he accepts how he was in the past and knows he has to make things right. I think screwl might not be very pleasant in the coming bits. I can see how this will blend in with the other stories. Peter is the missing one I think. And the fact that he works at the bicycle shop MAY even be how he meets the others. I'm saddened to think this will only be three chapters. It's the kind of story you just want to live in for a while. Thanks for this. In a way I'm glad I didn't find this until now. It means I won't have to wait as long as the others for the next chapter. OH! I just realized how I missed it! I was dying in the hospital when it posted. Glad I made it through. I hate dying, there's just no future in it. I look forward to the next chapter.
  12. Hi Johnny C, so glad you enjoyed them. I have so much going on atm that I barely have time to write my name. I hadn't planned a revisit but I'll consider it. When I have time right now I'm working on something for the RU. If you haven't read any of the Revolution Universe you're in for a treat. Just go to the library page and at the bottom it has a link for stories by universe. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. Thanks again for taking the time to comment. I means a great deal to me. Cheers R
  13. Thanks Johnny, it was a fun one to write. I may have to revisit them in the future. Perhaps after life settles for me again. Cheers and thanks so much for the comment.
  14. Ryan had a style all his own. Duplicating his abilities, I fear, would be lacking.
