D'Artagnon
Okay, admit it. We've all done it. The radio is on, be it in the car, the shower, jogging, cleaning up around the house, and you are singing along with the music. Loud. Off-key. Missing words. Really, really, really bad singing. But the song has the wrong pronouns. She this, Her that. I love music, and I sing and change the pronouns. Sorry, but being gay, there are just times when the song is saying what I'm feeling, but the pronouns are wrong. Like in the song "Brown Eyed Girl" by the amazing Van Morrison. I don't have a brown eyed girl. I have a blue eyed boy. So, while that example is a bit of a stretch, you get the idea. So, I'm betting I'm not the only one that does this. What songs do you change to suit your life? Multiple songs? List 'em all, or comment on other people's selections. Here's my first, for those unfamiliar. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfmkgQRmmeE Here's another. From John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, On the Darkside. Happy feet in three... two.. one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v38DnmMBQpk ken barber

ken barber
"My Guy" I've got sunshine on a cloudy day. When it's cold outside I've got the month of May. I guess you'd say What can make me feel this way? My guy (my guy, my guy) Talkin' 'bout my guy (my guy). I've got so much honey the bees envy me. I've got a sweeter song than the birds in the trees. Well, I guess you'd say What can make me feel this way? My guy (my guy , my guy ) Talkin' 'bout my guy (my guy ). Hey hey hey Hey hey hey Ooooh. I don't need no money, fortune or fame. I've got all the riches, baby, one man can claim. Well, I guess you'd say What can make me feel this way? My guy (my guy , my guy ) Talkin' 'bout my guy (my guy . I've got sunshine on a cloudy day With my guy . I've even got the month of May With my guy Talkin' 'bout Talkin' 'bout Talkin' 'bout My guy Ooooh My guy As long as I can talk about my guy ... D'Artagnon
Atlanta Rhythm Section - "So Into You" This one is more of a groove and mood song. I just love the how the bass carries the song and the other instruments seem to tease the melodies and harmonies out. It's a very subtle, smooth and sensual song. Coincidentally, when I sing this one along with the radio, i almost always substitute "Vibes" in the second line with "Thighs" Lol, well, we all fill in the blanks on some songs. And lets admit it, that voice is just dripping with HAWT! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXq-t6o38MQ When you walked into the room There was voodoo in the vibes I was captured by your style But I could not get your eyes Now I stand here helplessly Hoping you'll get into me I am so into you I can't think of nothing else I am so into you I can't think of nothing else Thinkin' how it's gonna be Whenever I get you next to me It's gonna be good Don't you know From your head to toe Gonna love you all over Over and over Me into you, you into me Me into you I'm so into you I'm so into you... When you walked into the room There was voodoo in the vibes I was captured by your style But I could not get your eyes Now I stand here helplessly Hopin' you'll get into me I am so into you I can't get to nothing else I am so into you, baby I can't get to nothing else, no, no, no Come on baby I'm so into you Love the things you do Listen, baby You're driving me crazy Come on baby I'm so into you Love the things you do ken barber
Zach Caldwell
Collin Raye -- One Boy, One Girl (changed to One Boy, One Boy) Lyrics -- Modified He finally gave in to his friend's girlfriend When she said, "there's someone you should meet" At a crowded restaurant way cross town He waited impatiently When he walked in their eyes met and they both stared And right there and then everyone else disappeared but [Chorus:] One boy, one boy, two hearts beating wildly To put it mildly it was love at first sight He smiled, he smiled, and they knew right away This was the day they'd waited for all their lives And for a moment the whole world revolved Around one boy and one boy In no time at all they were standing there In the front of a little church In front of their friends and family Repeating those sacred words Preacher said, "son kiss your husband" and he raised his eyes Like the night they met time just stood still [Repeat Chorus] He was holding his hand when the doctor looked up and grinned "congratulations, twins" [Repeat Chorus]
