interesting, so far.  i wonder, which authors would like to do the live author chat if voted in?

Well with only three votes in a week I dont think this is something we will look at trying again  for now

Too bad, it's a great idea.  Maybe after the holidays?  Should we shoot for this being more a voluntary thing, perhaps a requested event where readers make a case in the author's pages?

I like the idea as well.

Although I like the idea and think it should be given a chance, the issue is that with a worldwide membership and with people so busy, it may be hard to get attendance.

It kind of died when pics and skype came in but one on one text chats were a great way to write dialog and then just print-out the scripts.  both people should let go and be able to type.  ban all lol's and cya's.  try to use words.

I think the idea behind this... or at least for the few that I sat in on, was a skype phone call chat thing. Or people asking questions through the text and getting verbal answers. Something like that.

Larkin when we do these they are done in a program called adobe connect. It allows voice chat as well as text chat and visual aids. Its a really great program and we will hopefully have one coming up here soon. If I can get off my butt and get it set up,
