ken barber
So kind of excited about this and have started a story. I am 2000 words in and going strong. Most of these contests I have not participated in because I am too busy setting them up an running them. I am free to do this one. I typically do not write anything near 10K words so that is my big challengeWho else is in D'Artagnon and Shayn059

D'Artagnon
Maybe Sunday or Monday we should do some kind of muse injection seminar on skype? See if we can shake up the juice and see what shakes loose. Ideas? Like this? Hate it? Not sure if it's even practical? Why am I asking so many questions about a possible brainstorming session? Should we try this?Or do i just need a lot of sleep, LOL
ken barber
I am up for it but not Sunday. Family day Sunday. D'Artagnon
Jeikor
A muse injection sounds pretty good to me. I do already have an idea and whether I enter or not depends on ability to get it written in time. D'Artagnon
Shayn059
Better get those juices flowing. Time keeps on tickin, tickin, tickin into the future. D'Artagnon
Cynus
Got an idea, friends. I'm in. We'll see if I reach 10k, though. My initial idea would only reach 5k, I think, but I'm going to try and see if I can add something worthwhile to increase the count. D'Artagnon
Excellent. Excellent. come to the dark side... I, eh, ohh, wrong concept? Oh bother. Join the legion of evil, we do as much bad as we can before those goody-goodies catch up to us.
Shayn059
Another evil genius joins the Legion of Evil. Bwa ha ha ha ha!!!! D'Artagnon
D'Artagnon
You know, that's an interesting take on it. Why write the hero story about the hero. Give the villains some love too. Maybe a story about someone really good at being really bad might be interesting.
Shayn059
Wow!! that's an idea. write about a villain. That will take a lot of thought. D'Artagnon
D'Artagnon
Well, as a twist, lol. Have to remember that to the villain, he's the hero of his own story, so... I mean, it's a logic and moral inversion and all, but...

Cynus
Doesn't look like I'll make it after all. I have a deadline for another story I'm working on, and unfortunately it demands more of my attention. Plus, the idea I was working on kind of fizzled out, it had too many holes in the plot and I didn't have the energy to fix them. D'Artagnon
Awwww, shucks! Totally understand, though. The press for words is ever, ever onward. Thanks for giving it a shot, dude. And we all hungrily await whatever you are working on next.
ken barber
Not gonna happen on my end. Hit a brick wall at 5500 words and the story is going no where. I have the end plotted out but I just cant get there.

Jeikor
I'm not giving up or surrendering but I will be writing furiously this week to finish on time. There may not be time for much editing so you will have to bear with however it comes out. This also means the next chapter of From Trick to Treat may be a little later coming than usual.
