Sadly, one more rule must be added. Entire articles from other websites cannot be posted without obtaining the proper permissions of the copyright holder. The copyright holder is generally the author of the work, or in the case of news articles, the publisher. Under Fair Use, only a small portion may be cited. Always use a link to the original article. Failure to abide by this may result in limiting or even banning you from this site. Sorry folks, but I just don't have the $6,000 necessary to begin to battle an infringement suit. I don't believe you do either.
Every Community has rules this community is no exception. The Castle is meant to be a safe place for people to come and chat about the stories, or anything else they want. There are very few topics that are off limits, and if you stumble upon one, a moderator will notify you and ask you to stop.
The main rule is play nice... or else. What we mean by that is simple, have arguments or have heated debates but do not engage in personal attacks. This includes personal attacks on other members or people in the world at large. You can disagree without being disrespectful.
Second, we are well aware that there may be members or visitors who are under age. Because of this very real possibility and to protect comfort levels of all members, We will NOT allow ANY sexually explicit posts, pictures or videos, in any post or private message. If anything happens in a private message, that makes you uncomfortable, please alert a member or a moderator.
Our rules and expectations are reasonable and geared towards being respectful to all of all our members regardless of their gender, sexuality, political or religious, or personal views.
This Community thrives on respect. Members need to respect each other and the community rules and the Community as a whole will respect the members.
