I did the reread of both TKS and SoT this Christmas. It took some time, but wow, both these stories are great. I guess there will be a few edits of the post, as the stories continue. Regarding Hontel he is mention in TKS twice, and one of the episodes is the one which put him on Gonnel shitlist in SoT C6. Anyway, I'll start going through the chapters, and add the watch members. Reading, some more reading... TKS C7 and C13 SoT C6, C22, and C23 And I got 3 watch members Gonnel Dark Skinned Elf. Forrest Elf? Like Conner? Master from TKS C13 only master and legendary could vote, and legendary, and you don't address a legendary as master An unnamed female watch member, but she gave Hontel some help. And Saxez, Pantherling, presumed a Swordsman, since Hontel is his student, but could be wrong, as it can be a teacher of a subfield.

Yes, they are short. But they are coming. And I prefer to have a new short chapter every 2. week, then one large every year... Of course, each week would be better, as long as Roland can keep up with the story. But if I had to choose between a new chapter every two weeks for 6 months, or every week for 2 months, and then 2 months before the next.... I would prefer every two weeks

Well, the watch already has an interest, as Hontel is in the group. Besides that, with all of the watch members down in Rollingdale\Everone, there aren't that many watch members left in Junsac to keep up with them. And to Davnans annoyance, Malachi wants to make the smithing technic know to everyone. And remember, Master Frem, is Asters metalworker teacher, so I guess he has connections with the watch to, and he is the one who can make real magical weapons, so that isn't that much of a "wow" thing for the watch. The wow factor is to use that much coin for such a weapon... Aster already knows how to make Eldwar... So, the watch is watching, but for now, they don't know the biggest secret, and that is something Hontel isn't aware of yet. Yes, new chapters every two weeks is the best thing since sliced bread ;)

I knew I had read about the prices for spells somewhere... TKS, Chapter 5. Spell pages go for a hundred silver per Echelon of the spell in Dark Rapids. I have a question for you though. How would Glaster feel about you having some fun with me?” But, ehrm, this would rate the spell as 600 silver (Or, if you count the steps, 2600 silver, but the steps aren't mentioned anywhere as something to take into consideration for spells, as those are bound up to the echelons. ) Oh well, don't mind me, keep working on one of my favorite stories on the site

Great to start again. I guess Roland have been waiting for the last chapter of The Kandric saga to continue his story. He does normally wait a year between chapters, he keep them chapter sizes and not book sized after all One minor detail. At the end. I read the text as Xavier (Xavior in the meantime, used the sheer rage at seeing a dragon treated the way the young brown was, to shift himself....) is the one to shift out of dragon form, but all of the rest on the text tells me is Garnet (shifts to Dragonling, and Xavier is crushing some with his tail) When reading the text again, I think the mixup started in the paragraph before.

First of all, I loved it. Thanks Kyle! I have followed The Kandric Story since The Storytellers forum, back in 2000, and it has started to connect all the dots, so I hope we will soon see an ending to book 1. There are loads of stuff ready for a new book. Some thoughts about this chapter. I missed the Aster/Bayne reaction to the dragonkill. Also, this chapter could have been parted in two, to gives us a new chapter faster.
