Rilbur
Ooops, overlooked that little detail. Yes, pitch black -- you'll need lighting or darkvision to continue. Anyway, several characters have torches they could light, or a lamp they could use. I'm assuming someone will take responsibility for it. Jeikor
Hey! What are pyromaniacs for!! LOL Also a question if Igny creates a bonfire is that considered regular flames or magical flames? Might be handy to know for the near future.
Rilbur
The flames are magical in nature.
Jeikor
That is what I figured. Igny can't create a bonfire then use control flames on it.
Zergrinch
Nope. That stipulation specifically is there to prohibit such a combination so that the spell doesn't become overpowered.Now... Pyrotechnics on the other hand... It combos best with Flaming Sphere (which sorcerers can't cast). But it works too with Create Bonfire. Area of Effect Blinding? Yes, please. Jeikor
Didn't figure Myles would actually get a hit . . . but . . . better safe than surprise attacked.
Zergrinch
I was wondering if we can get a map? Lots of potential routes that I'm finding harder to keep straight on my head.
Rilbur
Um... I'll try to think of something. Unfortunately, I'm not a graphics artist.
Zergrinch
Oh, you mean a map isn't included in the Adventure module?Okay, why not use Google spreadsheets to do a rudimentary map? Doesn't need to be a work of art since all I want is to get my bearings straight.

And I don't have a clue how to use spreadsheets to host a map.
Zergrinch
You can just paste it into Paint and black out the parts where we're not supposed to see.
Rilbur
That gives me an image, but not sure how I'd host an image in google spreadsheets.Edit:I'll also be honest, right now I do not have as much spare time as I'd like to experiment with new things. Zergrinch
Oh, the image, just upload it here. Google spreadsheets is a crude alternative to an image where the spreadsheet's rows and columns are used to represent grids on a map. Think about the maps you see in, say, the NES version of Legend of Zelda.
Rilbur
FYI, I'm going to a con this weekend. I'm in the ramp-up preprations, and too busy to play for the next week or so. Sorry all.
