D'Artagnon Posted November 29, 2014 Report Share Posted November 29, 2014 When I started writing Coupe, I decided that along with the anagrams I hid in the story (at least three that I remember) I was going to incorporate a lot of music. Not just songs that the characters themselves were listening to during the story, but I created a specific play list... oh, alright, I burned CD's. Busted! But, I assembled a list of songs that I listened to while writing. Songs that inspired certain moods, certain plot points, even certain characters. So, I was wondering, do other authors do the same? One reminds me of a movie I should have included in my list on the sci-fi movies forum (love Queen). I don't usually listen to anything when I write. I visualize the action and try to describe it. Now is Yoseph's trouble from the dragon or Korbesch? I am thinking Korbesch. Love the repoire between Robbie and Kenneth; a sign of pure, true love in spite of the Satyr's nature. And I hope you all do not snicker because I am still at the awe-struck stage of how much I am enjoying the story so far and in a state of semi-hero admiration for the author. You are well into the twists and turns of the story and I want to be there too. If we were on Saturn or Jupiter, the days would have more hours with which to read! Last count had the hate emails at 242. When you consider that I first posted this story and that particular chapter in May of 2003... Will not say where in the book I was for those of you have not read or finished "Game of Thrones"... But I just purchased a new IPad and now have to worry about hurling it out the window??
